Dear Joke Blog-

How are you?

I haven't seen you in so long but I think about you all the time...

When Seattle and I broke up it was hard on lots of my friendships. I wasn't sure if people would still want to be friends with me if Seattle and I were not together anymore...

I want you to know that I'm very happy with Berkeley! We get along really well and I feel more like myself than I have in a long time. But don't worry, I'm still awfully pessimistic! The other day my aunt told me she was worried that I was seeing something in a glass half empty kind of way. I told her that it wasn't that I saw the glass half empty, I sew 18 half empty glasses.

I promise I will be better about keeping in contact.

dear joke blog-
the other day i said something funny about how the Dalai Lama and KRS-One and New Kids on the Block should go on tour together... i personally think this would be a hugely successful tour!
i can't think of anyone i know who wouldn't want to go! so i'm making some calls and pulling some strings and i'm gonna see if i can make this thing happen. don't even worry, you all will be the first to know about it.

so, i said something funny (surprised? i thought not!) to my friend josh the other day and he responded with, "that sounds like a joke blog entry, your not recycling material are you?" i totally wasn't but it got me thinking (surprised? i thought so!) that from now on when i have some funny comment or retort to something someone has said i'm just going to have to say this... "well, i have a funny response to that, but you'll just have to read about it on my blog."
